OUR HISTORY

I stumbled into coaching when my first athlete won the Collegiate National Triathlon Championships and received her pro card soon afterward. From there, it was a whirlwind of learning how to take a runner and make her phenomenal at swimming and cycling. Coaching triathlon at the pro level greatly accelerated my knowledge of the sport. I have taken my skills from coaching elites to now applying them for wider range of triathletes; from back-of-the-pack athletes to age groupers wanting to qualify at world championship races. My focus is on building 1:1 relationships with my athletes while using analysis and data to get my athletes toward their goals. I’ve had the privilege of coaching over 100 athletes by combining my knowledge of the sport and interest in analysis. After competing as a division II collegiate distance runner and racing triathlons for 15 years, I’ve learned that it takes desire, determination, and discipline to reach one’s athletic goals. In 2013, Ed was over-weight and could only ponder the idea of triathlons from the desk of his high-tech job. Two years later and after receiving a dare from his wife to finally get serious about his health, he took action. Without even knowing how to swim, he found a coach and then purchased a used, 25-pound steel road bike to officially start his triathlon career.

Ed is now an enthusiastic participant and supporter of triathlons and endurance sports, although at that same desk, he has dropped 90 pounds and completed over 20 races. When not in work meetings or doing quantitative analysis, he’s regularly found at the pool, leading club rides, or running trails.

Andrew Dole is the owner of BodyFuelSPN, a sport performance and lifestyle nutrition practice in Castle Rock, CO specializing in endurance athletes and weight management. An active triathlete, certified executive chef and triathlon coach Andrew manages clients around the world combining nutrition science, behavior modification, and culinary expertise into powerful life changing nutrition interventions or sport performance driven plans.
